Freena Tailor

Mail Metro Media

Mail Metro Media’s Junior Insight Executive, Freena Tailor graduated with First-Class Honours in Magazine Journalism & Publishing at University of Arts London.

After a year of working in retail post-graduating, she had a hunger for more and applied for a programme at Brixton Finishing School. She quickly realised what an amazing opportunity this was and sunk her teeth into soaking up every experience and learning from the top companies in the industry. As a front-runner in the interview process, Freena went on to win a placement at Mail Metro Media. Her time here proved invaluable as she really made the most of every opportunity, from attending external meetings with sales teams to presenting insights directly to clients alongside sales directors. Freena’s initiative and zeal didn’t end there as she proactively proposed a new job role to MMM’s Chief Brand Strategy Officer, Ryan Uhl before the end of her internship. She noticed a gap in the team’s servicing to market and now holds a permanent position as Junior Insight Executive. Freena has quickly become an integral part of the commercial team, creating new innovative insight tools which help clients achieve their goals, such as producing ‘Trends+’ which tracks the change of targetable behavioural segments. Freena also helps in shaping MMM’s new ‘Next Gen Nation’ internship programme, inspiring fellow young people to carve out a career path just like her. Gaining a position on the Campaign’s Female Frontiers list would provide Freena the confidence and recognition to continue excelling in her field!
