The Campaign Female Frontier Awards champion women who are consistently pushing the boundaries and challenge the status-quo within the UK marketing, advertising, media and technology industries.

The Awards will recognise and celebrate women who lead and inspire within their fields of expertise; women who are paving the way for the next generation across the marketing communications landscape. 

With categories for individuals, teams and company initiatives, the Awards shine a spotlight on outstanding leadership, creativity, innovation, support & development, health & wellbeing and DE&I. Including our six new categories; CEO of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Mentor of the Year, Visionary Business Leader, Diverse-Inclusive Workplace, Health & Wellbeing Awards. Alongside our FREE TO ENTER Rising Star category. 

We have revised the categories and we have refined the entry process and now we invite you to nominate yourself, or any women, team and businesses that have inspired within your industries over the past 12 months.

Individual Categories

Conquering Creativity

This award recognises inspirational women whose work and ideas have generated consumer excitement through top-of-class creative thinking. The winner will be a woman who has not only set the standard for creative excellence but also raised the bar.

Making Media Matter

This award recognises outstanding women who have worked to ignite positive change through making meaningful decisions in media planning and buying. An exceptional woman who has contributed profoundly to our understanding of media and using it for the better.

Transforming Technology

This award recognises outstanding women who have ignited positive change by introducing new technology to the industry. An exceptional woman leader who has contributed profoundly to our understanding of technology or deployment of new tech.

CEO of the Year *NEW CATEGORY*

This award recognises women CEOs who have excelled in providing demonstrated leadership that has been critical to the success of their organisations. Open to all leaders, owners, entrepreneurs, founders, employed professionals, and self-employed women who promote excellence among CEOs and C-Level executives and high professional standards amongst peers.

Entrepreneur of the Year *NEW CATEGORY*

This award recognises an entrepreneur who has demonstrated exemplary leadership traits. Open to women who work in a private-sector business entity in owning a business in operation for at least three years. Must be a Founder or Co-Founder of an organisation and be currently engaged in an active role.

Mentor of the Year *NEW CATEGORY*

This award recognises outstanding leadership and implementation of a mentorship program and personal development. The mentor/coach should have a minimum of one full year of mentoring/coaching one or more mentee(s); 8+ years of leadership/excellent track record of staff engagement/retention and acted as an inspiration to men/women.

Rising Star * FREE TO ENTER *

This award recognises women who have set themselves apart from their peers, have shown early success in their field and will maximise their full potential to be the next generation of women leaders in the industry. Open to professionals who are at the age of 30 or under as of 1 December 2021 or with less than 5 years experience in their chosen sector.

Visionary Business Leader *NEW CATEGORY*

This award recognises an exceptional woman who has not only achieved growth for their businesses but a leader who has contributed in a profound way to our understanding of female leadership. Demonstrating the highest level of performance, exhibited strong business acumen and displayed a vital sphere of influence outside and within her organisation.

* Open to professionals with 15+ years of professional experience, executive-level position or industry equivalent and recognised by others as an exceptional leader.

Company Categories

The following categories will recognise initiatives brought forward by women who are breaking down barriers, pushing boundaries and making dynamic changes within their careers. These initiates will have set the wheels in motion for further change in the workplace or industry. 

Diverse-Inclusive Workplace

This award recognises a company that excelled in supporting diversity and inclusion and fostering an environment of genuine respect and trust in the workplace.

Workplace diversity may refer to age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, physical conditions, LGBTIQ, culture diversity, etc.

Health & Wellbeing Awards

This award recognises and celebrates the achievements of organisations for an outstanding contribution to, and promotion of, health and wellbeing.


The awards are open to women within EMEA or with a global title based outside EMEA, from those established in their careers and already creating real, impactful change to those just starting out and making waves. These awards are truly global, and so we welcome and actively encourage entries from individuals and firms of all sizes.

Individuals can either nominate themselves or be nominated by a peer or colleague. If you are submitting on behalf of someone else, you must receive permission from the nominee beforehand and provide details of the nominee should they need to be contacted.

The eligibility period for submission should relate to the period November 2020 – December 2021. If your campaign or project ran outside of these dates, please only discuss the activity that took place between them.

The 2022 Female Frontiers Judging Panel

Rania Robinson came to the UK from Egypt at the age of three and started school not speaking a word of English. Her early experiences sparked a life-long passion for forming connections and meaningful communication. Having spent most of her career in non-traditional agencies in both account leadership and strategic roles, she has worked with some of the world's best-known brands, including: Haribo, Mercedes, Virgin, Google and Coca Cola.

Since joining Quiet Storm nine years ago, she has brought a 360° perspective and new energy to the agency, helping extend its service offer and broaden its sector experience. A passionate exponent of empowering women in the workplace, she is Vice President of WACL (an organisation whose purpose is to accelerate gender equality in the advertising and communication industry). Quiet Storm currently work with the Women's Equality Party pro bono. Rania is an active diversity champion and in 2020 relaunched Create Not Hate, Quiet Storm's initiative to get under-represented young people into the creative industries by unlocking their creative potential to tackle social issues that they live with every day. Rania is an active participant in D&I initiatives across the industry and a regular commentator on BBC Radio. She features in Campaign's A List of the most influential industry figures, sits on the IPA's Commercial Leadership Group, and is on AdAge’s Leading Women list of 2021.
