This year, Managing Partner, Emma Withington has steered her clients and her agency through the most dramatic change in consumer behaviour, delivering MG OMD’s most successful year in history.

Six pitch wins, multiple awards, a new 12 strong planning team, 52 weekly planning forums, three judging panels and a critical role in MG’s Media Week Agency of the Year win - would exhaust the most productive planner in double that time, but Emma does more in a day than most of us can dream of in a week. Her pitch winning planning work for Census 2021 won two Golds at the recent Media Week Awards and made Census 2021 the most successful ever, with a 94% completion rate. Her confident creative channel planning saw MG OMD win the new JV launch from Virgin Media and O2 after a highly confidential and rapid planning pitch. More recently, after the six month-long, £35m BA pitch, MG OMD has again seen a positive outcome from Emma’s stellar planning. She has reset the planning process for Pladis, The John Lewis Partnership and the Estée Lauder Companies, using OMD’s Omni to back brilliant planning with bespoke data, driving tangible business growth.
