Charlie Blum


Having joined MediaSense as employee number 5, Charlie has taken it upon herself to build a culture that has been instrumental in the company’s growth and ongoing success.

While Charlie’s day-to-day responsibilities lie in delivering media recommendations to some of the UK’s largest advertisers, her passion and vocation at MediaSense has been to develop our teams through mentoring and support. As the primary engagement lead at MediaSense, she has initiated a series of training and engagement platforms including: Creating MediaSense’s mentoring programme Leading weekly ‘Megabites’ show-and-tell sessions Running Analyst ‘drop-in’ surgeries to coach new starters Running wellness events and introducing ‘work perks’ benefits Introducing MediaSense’s bi-annual Company Awards programme Charlie has always been a true ambassador of our company culture and values. Over the last 18 months she has ensured connections remain strong while we work from home, particularly for newer team members who thrive on being in a collaborative environment. Her efforts have been acknowledged through winning the MediaSense Special Contribution Award, which recognises individuals for going above and beyond their day-to-day responsibilities to further MediaSense’s success. The successful output of all the energy she injects into the company has been demonstrated industry-wide when, earlier in 2021, MediaSense were awarded one of Campaign’s Best Place to Work, following consecutive years of less than 5% annual staff turnover and high staff NPS. This accreditation speaks volumes for all the hard work and determination Charlie has put into her mentoring responsibilities, all in addition to her day job.
