Abigail Stephenson

Abigail Stephenson, Creative, BBC Creative
Abigail is worthy of a place on the Influential Women list because she is exactly that, influential. In her short time in advertising (barely two years) she has already worked for some of London's top agencies including Droga5, Lucky Generals and BBC Creative.

Her most recent campaign featured comedian Katherine Ryan appearing on a deflating toucan lilo for credit card provider Barclaycard.

She has been named as Pitch 100 Superwomen by Pitch Magazine, a Badass Gal by the Young Creative Council and been a vocal champion of neuro-diversity, openly speaking about her struggles with dyslexia, dyspraxia and ADD.

She has already started to give back to the industry, by helping create the visual identity of D&AD's New Blood Shift Programme - a night school for non-graduates and creative misfits. She has also recently begun mentoring on the programme.

Along with her hard work inside and outside of the office, she has a growing presence on Instagram under her alias 'AdManAbi', where her transparency about the realities of working in the creative industry, dealing with imposter syndrome as a female creative and jaw-dropping art direction has earned her a loyal following.
