Ellie Johnson began her career as an editor at Speade, where she was mentored by critically acclaimed talents Sam Sneade and Leo Scott. Throughout her time there, Ellie built relationships with Directors like Sam Pilling, Joe Connor and Emil Nava, making a name for herself as a hugely creative and widely sought after editor. In 2018 Ellie joined award-winning edit house, tenthree, where she continues to tell stories, create memorable commercials and iconic music videos. A pioneer for creativity, in 2019 Ellie became the first FEMALE in History to win a Gold British Arrow for editing, as well as becoming the first FEMALE in History to win a Gold Creative Circle Award for editing too. ToEllie, advertising is also an important tool for change, which has the power to increase representation of diverse cultures in the public eye and lead the way for gender equality in the workplace. So as long as she is contributing to those causes and working on projects that go against gender stereotypes and taboos, Ellie is one happy editor. With further nominations and wins in 2020, gaining representation in the states and becoming the first FEMALE partner at tenthree, Ellie is one of a kind and certainly, a frontier at her craft.
