Becky Willan is CEO and founder of Given, the brand purpose agency. Given are based in London but work with businesses all over the world.
Becky set Given up 11 years ago to help make businesses a force for good. Given is a small business, but Becky's ambition has always been to have a disproportionately large impact on the world through the clients we work with.
Previously Becky worked in the sustainability team at The Body Shop. Inspired by the idea that successful businesses could also have a positive impact on the world, Becky founded Given in 2010 to apply this principle as a consultant.
Becky has grown Given over the last 10 years. She now leads a team of 35, working on critical projects for some of the biggest brands in the world. Given boasts an enviable client list that includes IKEA, Diageo, Liberty Global, Zalando, and John Lewis Partnership.
Becky has built a successful, profitable agency, full of leading sustainability strategists, business consultants and creatives. Despite the chaos of 2020, Given has retained the majority of its client base, become a B-corp and won new accounts including LOreal, Ocado, OVO and most notably, a landmark purpose project with John Lewis Partnership
Becky has always led from the front. Inspiring the team, keeping people motivated, supported and engaged, whilst delivering award-winning work for clients.
Becky regularly speaks at conferences, is writing a book on purposeful leadership and plans on expanding Given's presence into Europe and North America in 2021.
