Our strategy is rigorous and relentless. Year on year we bake new initiatives into our journey to push boundaries.

At agency launch in 2013, leadership joined WPP Roots’ steering committee to champion greater ethnic, cultural diversity in the creative industries. From the onset, leadership has worked with Inspiring the Future/ local schools to share their journeys into industry. We collaborate with The School of Communication Arts working across generations to solve creative challenges facing brands today. In 2019, we launched our ground-breaking work experience programme: The Incubator – for young people from diverse backgrounds – a mini agency working on live briefs. Now in its third year, we partner with Hult Business School and expanded to New York with Bronx Community College. 2020 saw diverse, stand out award-winning work “World Woman Hour” – a global movement with 60 brave, strong women telling their stories, each in 60 seconds – inspiring young women the world over. 2022 welcomes The Inclusion Experience (IX) - our strategic consultancy to accelerate sustainable cultural change within client organisations. We’re making a difference: EXCO is 75% female leadership. 15% of employees come from diverse backgrounds. There’s a 50% increase in diverse hires 2020/2021. We’ve completed 402 hours of DE&I training, averaging 2.5 hours per person. Our gender split is 43% women/67% men. We’re incredibly proud to be named Outstanding Employer 2019 by the Ethnicity Awards and Diversity & Inclusion Company of the Year 2021 at The Drum Digital Industries Awards. We’ve come a long way … there’s further to go.
