Tanisha Sharma is a Business Analyst at News UK, leading the newsroom transformation analysis for our Times and Sunday Times newsrooms. Previously, Tanisha was working on one of the most essential teams to support our Sun newsroom where she helped with launch of Sun US site, built a new Live Blogs tool, drove migration of CMP for 8 sites as a key contact for stakeholders, and has delivered multiple editorial capabilities in Sun CMS.

She has impressed everyone with her solid attention to detail, positive outlook, analytical skills, ability to easily communicate with all levels of stakeholders, and adaptability to go beyond her role consistently. Her curiosity and technological background pushes her to engage at a great level of detail in conversations, ultimately making her a much stronger BA. Tanisha continuously pushes herself to learn and be better in her career. She raises new ideas, elevates her skills and reaches out to people outside her discipline to understand their responsibilities. At News UK, she is one of the organisers of the Women in Tech network and co-chair for Gen-Z community. Tanisha founded SHEisRARE, which is a website aimed at inspiring young girls to choose Tech professions. She has interviewed and published STEM Stories of women from various companies. Tanisha has spoken at various schools and webinars around the world discussing STEM and diversity. Tanisha's global social impact has been recognised by Yahoo Finance & INvolve, which listed her in the HERoes Top 100 Future Female Leaders list 2020 at #38.
