Lindsay has risen swiftly through the ranks and since May this year, is now in charge of not one, but two media agencies under the Publicis Media umbrella at just 37 years old. Turner has successfully led the agency’s founding client – Dixons Carphone – for the last eight years. In addition to Dixons, Turner most recently oversaw the sizeable GSK account transition into the UK business following the global Publicis win last year. Although the agencies client teams are still separate, Turner has merged Blue 449 and Spark Foundry onto the same floor in the new White City offices with the aim of cross-pollinating ideas and creativity.
Since being promoted to CEO, Lindsay’s first act of power was to appoint a next gen board – the ‘FireStarters’ – in order to maximise a collaborative and inclusive agency culture, focused on the retention of talent and giving a voice to those mid-level and junior employees. Not only this, but she has also championed the diversity and inclusion programme across the agencies with the creation of ‘The Collective’ by providing the platforms necessary for them to host events to educate and entice real change amongst employees. A market-leading stat Turner is most proud of is that, under her leadership, Blue 449 has managed to hit 23% BAME, proof of her focus on D&I. Turner, is also introducing the agencies’ first ‘Bring Your Parents to Work Day', in December, to give all agency employees’ parents the chance to genuinely understand what we do!
