Abi emulates the Rising to the Top award; having attending University at just 15 and coming out with a mathematics degree at 18, she hit the ground running in the advertising industry. She worked her way up through two of the biggest advertising networks: Publicis and Group M and secured a Director role in Digital Marketing in less than 4 years.

Abi now leads a European Paid Search team on the agency's top client and has successfully overseen a transformation of the search strategy across multiple top-tier markets, resulting in 125% YoY revenue growth. Abi is relentless in her drive to ensure that her client is at the forefront of paid search innovation whilst her meticulous attention to detail ensures best practice is always at the foundation.

Within her team Abi fosters a culture of openness and her tenacity ensures that she gets the best out of people whilst supporting their growth and development.

Alongside work, Abi has also contributed immensely and worked tirelessly to improve inclusivity and diversity. She's been an active member of Mindshare's 'Roots' committee, focused on educating people about structural racism and bringing greater diversity to the workplace. In this sphere she's also been part of panels, leading discussions and even sharing her own experiences with anti-blackness as someone of African-South Asian heritage on BBC radio. In her spare time, she attends book tours, galleries, lectures and exhibitions covering topics relating to black history and anti-blackness.
